DRMS Permit <br />No. M- 1983 -194 and Well Status Update <br />Pursuant to rule 4.14 and /or 4.17 of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety (DRMS) Mineral Rules and Regulations for Hard Rock, Metal, and Designated <br />Mining Operations Natural Soda Inc. (the operator), located at 3200 Rio Blanco County <br />Rd. 31, Rifle, CO 81650 hereby requests a reduction of the warranty amount for Permit <br />No. M- 1983 -194. <br />In 2010 NSI plugged and abandoned (P &A'ed) the 93-2M monitor well and the 1A -5HR <br />process well Additionally in 2010, NSI determined that it was only necessary to drill 3 of <br />the 4 core hole assessment wells that were permitted and bonded for under TR -28. <br />In 2011 NSI plugged and abandoned 3 wells, the 5H, 6H and 5H -1V. <br />The attached spreadsheet indicates NSI's understanding of the applicable activities, <br />bond reduction amounts, and appropriate citations. : A review of- CIRCES : documents <br />indicated a bond reduction of $42,949.68 should be in order. This bond reduction should <br />change NSI's bonded amount from $1,936,221 to approximately $1,893,271. Please <br />contact me if your understanding is different. <br />These operations took place on Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management <br />Land. The address for the BLM White River Field Office is: 220 E. Market Street, <br />Meeker, CO 81641. The authorized officer is Mr. Paul.
