There was no <br />debris from the adjacent landowner's property on the road. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule'): <br />The reclaimed mine access road leading up to the reclaimed fan site was well vegetated and appeared to be <br />stable. No problems with cracking or slumping were observed. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The reclaimed disturbed areas on the hillside were well vegetated, except for the west side portal area, <br />which continues to exhibit signs of instability, and the flat facilities area, which has a poor to fair vegetative cover. <br />The ground where the mine office used to be has not been reseeded yet. <br />There is tamarisk growing along the water's edge in the hillside spring water treatment pond, on the hillside where <br />the hillside spring originates and south of the location of the former entrance gate. This tamarisk needs to be <br />removed in an appropriate fashion. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />The west side portal area that had been backfilled is showing new signs of instability. The adjacent slide <br />outside of the permit boundary may be affecting the portal backfill. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The mine bridge over the North Fork of the Gunnison River was passable. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification sign was on its post at the top of the hill and contained the required information. <br />The "records location" sign was up at the top of the hill as well. <br />Surface disturbance markers were up along the disturbed area perimeter, except where the hillside and cliff were <br />too steep for placement, due to safety concerns.
