9) Rule 6.4.21(12) — Water Quality Monitoring Plan
The analytical suite for the quarterly monitoring of the mine pool should be expanded
to include the following parameters: Bicarbonate (as HCO3), boron, chromium
(dissolved or total), fluoride, lead (dissolved or total), nitrate + nitrate (as N),
phosphorous (total as P), gross alpha, gross beta.
Most of the requested additional parameters for mine pool water sampling are already
included in the water monitoring program and are reported on a quarterly basis,
including: bicarbonate (as HCO3), fluoride, lead (total), phosphorous, gross alpha, gross
beta.
The following additional parameters for mine pool water sampling have been added to
the water monitoring program as requested: boron, chromium (total), nitrate + nitrite (as
N).
