<br />PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />C.B. Minerals Company, LLC, P.O. Box 1827,
<br />Pebble Beach, CA, 93953, has submitted an
<br />application for renewal of a valid existing permit to
<br />conduct mining in Colorado to the Division of
<br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety. The permit
<br />renewal is for CB's Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining
<br />permit No. C- 1984 -065. The operation is in
<br />permanent cessation. The mine is located
<br />approximately 3 miles east of New Castle, south of
<br />the Colorado River in the Grand Hogback region in
<br />Garfield County. The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine
<br />permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Sur-
<br />vey 7.5 minute Storm King Mountain and New
<br />Castle Quadrangle maps. The mine permit area is
<br />located in portions of the following described lands:
