<br />Minrec, Inc., 627 24 1/2 Road, Unit H, Grand Junc-
<br />tion, CO 81505 has submitted a complete applica-
<br />tion for a technical revision to the Division of Rec-
<br />lamation, Mining and Safety for its North Thompson
<br />Creek Mines, mining permit no. C- 1981 -025. This
<br />technical revision application will add a section of
<br />open ditch along the discharge line from treatment
<br />pond T -2 to outfall 001. Addresses in the identifi-
<br />cation of interests section of the permit will also be
<br />updated by this technical revision.
<br />The permit area consists of the lands located in
<br />Sections 27, 28, and 35, T. 8 S., R. 89 W., 6th
<br />P.M. and Sections 2 and 3 T. 9 S., R. 89 W., 6th
<br />P.M. more fully described below. The surface of
<br />the mine permit area is owned by the North Th-
<br />ompson -Four Mile Mineral and Land Corporation
<br />(portions of sections 27, 34 and 35 T8S), the
<br />Crystal River Ranch Company (portions sections 2
<br />and 3 T9S, and sections 34 and 35 T8S, and the U.
<br />S. Forest Service (portion of section 27 T8S).
<br />The mine permit area is located approximately 9.5
<br />miles from the bridge across the Crystal River u
<br />County Road 108, (North Thompson Creek Road
<br />The permit area can be located on the U.S.G.S. 7.5
<br />minute Stony Ridge, CO quadrangle map. The to-
<br />tal permit area encompasses 1086 acres of which
<br />20 acres are on USDA -FS managed surface.

<br />CO, 80203, (303) 866 -3567. Written comments
<br />regarding this application may be submitted to and
<br />additional information may be obtained from the
<br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety at the
<br />above address. Written comments must be
<br />received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining
<br />and Safety within 10 days after the date of this
<br />publication in order to be considered.
