MINED 'LAND WILDLIFE STATEMENT / EVALUATION' <br />For limited impact and select regular mine application <br />The following information pertaining to the wildlife is provided <br />for use by the Mined Land Reclamation Board in their consideration <br />of a mining permit for: <br />Baca County Gravel Pit # 18, NE 4, Sec 4, T 28 S, R 49 W <br />Wildlife Species List : Pronghorn, jackrabbit, small rodent spp, <br />cottontail rabbit, coyote, songbird spp, golden eagel, swainson's <br />hawk, rough legged hawk, american kestrel, prarie falcon <br />Endangered/ critical species/ impacted: None <br />Assesament of impact: Very little adverse wildlife impacts. <br />Mine reclamation Recommendations (include key species/ habitats <br />for which restoration is designed): If possible, pit should be <br />sealed with bentonite, and sides shaped to a 3:1 slope, to make <br />runoff water availabe for wildlife.
