The Dugout Pond, perimeter ditches and Sediment Pond 2, <br />however, will remain as permanent site features. <br />Mans <br />Certain maps are included in the Appendices to provide CDMG additional information on the <br />proposed reclamation and closure plan for the mine site, pursuant to CDMG Rule 2.05.3. <br />• Existing Surface Features Map (Appendix M-1) <br />• Permit Area Map (Appendix A-1) <br />• 1996 Vegetation Sampling Locations Map (Appendix L-5) -updated annually <br />• Final Reclamation Contour and Drainage Plan (Appendix Q- I ) <br />Facilities Removal <br />The following CEC facilities will be removed as time and use dictate. <br />• Office, shop and warehouse (and any temporary or portable buildings) <br />• Equipment parking lot <br />• DiversionJdrainagestnictures (except the perimeter ditches, the Dugout Pond and <br />Sediment Pond 2) <br />• Sewage treatment facility <br />• All roads (trails will remain for monitor well access) <br />• • Road right-of--way fencing (Section and property line fences to remain, as appropriate) <br />• Electrical distribution system (to the extent owned by CEC -see Appendix P-3) <br />• Fuel storage tanks and dispensing system <br />• "Elevated" water storage tank <br />• Potable water system <br />• Explosive storage facilities <br />• Monitoring wells <br />All non-salvagable components of these facilities will be removed from the site or buried at least <br />four (4) feet below final grade (AOC) in the remaining B-Pit disposal azea. The area will then be <br />topsanded and revegetated. <br />Dreinaee Systems <br />The CEC site drainage plan and facilities are presented in Appendix K, "Technical Revision <br />Drainage Control Plan Ii", dated June, 1994. Existing diversion/drainage features that have been <br />constructed along the access and haul roads, and around the north and east sides of the CEC <br />property, serve to convey surface water runoff to Sediment Pond 2. These existing drainage <br />facilities, as well as existing site topographic features, are shown in Appendix M-l. It is <br />noteworthy that total long-term sediment accumulation in Sediment Pond 2 has not been a <br />problem in eleven years of use (refer to previous discussion). The Dugout Pond shall remain <br />undisturbed at site closure in order to provide a continued wildlife habitat, in accordance with <br />CDMG direction.
