Climax Molybdenum Co., Climax, CO <br />Engineer. W. W. Wheeler and Associates, Englewood, CO <br />General Contractor. Lawrence Construction Co., Littleton, CO <br />Electrical Sub - Contractor: Sturgeon Electric Co., Aurora, CO <br />Exponential Engineering Co. of Fort Collins, CO was used as a sub - contractor to <br />Wheeler for the electrical system design. <br />Proiect Schedule <br />The project schedule was as follows: <br />Bid Opening: May 2008 <br />Construction Contract Awarded: August 2008 <br />Construction Begins: September 2008 <br />Substantial Completion: December 2008 <br />System Start-up: December 2008 <br />Project Description <br />The Climax 5 Dam Seepwater Pipeline Replacement project is the partial replacement of <br />a water pipeline used to transfer seepwater collected from the 5 Dam seeps and <br />foundation drains to the 3 Dam collection pond. The water from the 3 Dam collection <br />pond in tum is transferred to the Sludge Densification Plant for treatment. <br />
