Heifner
4- / - 52 (/).5
Submitted are two copies of a revision to the above referenced permit. This revision addresses the issue of
oil and gas development on land permitted by Schmidt Construction Company. The property is on the
Lowry Range which is owned by the State of Colorado and managed by the Colorado State Board of Land
Commissioners. The revision removes from Schmidt responsibility for disturbances made within the
permit area that are the result of oil and gas development and not the mining of sand. The revision has
been reviewed by the staff of the State Land Board and they concur with its provisions. This revision was
previously discussed with Tony Waldron and was determined to be necessary to protect Schmidt.
