6 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of
vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth:
The only new disturbance is expected to be the 420 feet of additional access to get to
h oles 11 -41 -MK through 11-4g-MK. The width of this access is approximately 14 feet.Tne
existing vegetation (only when ground conditions are dry), and then drive the equipment
back out. Truck traffic will be minimized at these 3 locations. If any topsoil exists on any
other drill location, it will be bladed by bobcat off to one side of the drill pad area and will
later be replaced on me surtace atter drug note plugging.
9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures):
Since the 300 past drill holes have not encountered any water, the drill holes for, this permit will
only be b ac d fully with bentonite or cement if water is encountered in the hole. If the holes
fully plugged. If no significant water is encountered, any surface pipe will be cut within 1 foot of
the ground surface and a conical plug will be installed 5 feet from the surface. Above this plug,
concrete or bentonite will be used to till up to the surtace. All cores will be removed from the
and reseeded as part of the reclamation for the new pads and partially disturbed sites. For
those sites on existing waste rock, the waste rock will be spread over the mud pits.
10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer Rule 3 and Rule 5 for
specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications.
One adit will be extended as shown on the attached Map 1. The waste rock (estimated to
be 4000 tons) will be taken outside from the existing mine portal and placed on the existing
encountered will he collected separately. The storage area will he part of the mine permit
that is in process of development.
11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition:
Only existing dirt roads will be used to access all drill sites, except for the 420 feet of road
to drill holes 11 -41 -MK through 11- 46 -MK. This area will be returned to the existing
condition by first only alowing access over the vegetation during dry conditions. For
as shown on the attached Map 1.
