Extension.
Dear Mr. Chiles,
On July 20 2011 the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) received Rimrock Exploration's
application for a 110d, Designated Mining Operation (DMO), application No. M- 2011 -040. An administrative
review of the submission noted the application was complete for review and was considered filed as of July 26,
2011. The decision date was set for October 24, 2011.
On October 11, 2011 the Division issued its Preliminary Adequacy Review (PAR). The PAR noted several issues that
will require additional technical information from Rimrock. On October 21, 2011 Rimrock requested an extension
of the decision date to December 15, 2011 in order to develop a response to the PAR. The Division is approving
that request. Please note that Division staff must have adequate time to review any submitted responses. Due to
the technical nature of the response it is recommended that Rimrock submit a PAR response no later than
December 1, 2011.
