Box 1470 <br />Rifle, CO 81650 <br />Re: American Shale Oil, LLC, Notice of Intent (NOI) File No. P- 2008 -046, Report on <br />Cement Evaluation and Zonal Isolation. <br />Dear Mr. Day, <br />On October 13, 2011 American Shale Oil, LLC requested approval from the Division of <br />Reclamation Mining and Safety (DRMS) to proceed with the completion of the 4 remaining <br />tomography wells based on the tomography well cement evaluations completed by John McBeath <br />of Platt, Sparks & Associates. The analysis completed by Mr. Mcbeath clearly demonstrates that <br />adequate hydraulic isolation exists for wells TM -1, TM -2, TM -3, TM -4, TM -5 and TM -6.
