Brown and grayish brown surface soils 5 to 9 inches <br /> thick underlain by stratified loamy materials. These soils <br /> have good intake rates, good permeability, and a high water- <br /> holding capacity. Fertility levels are usually high. Soils <br /> are usually in the frigid family. <br /> b.
