Engineering Evaluation
For James T. and Ruth M. Olsen
Fence
By Daniel Madruga, P.E.
CLC Associates, Inc.
Description of Man Made Structure:
James T. and Ruth M. Olsen own a three -strand T -post wire fence which is located along
the northern edge of their property, and the southern edge of the proposed Base of Operations.
Approximately five feet from the eastern-most edge of the fence, a cut slope leads down
approximately eight feet to the New Access Road.
Engineering Evaluation:
While Wildcat Mining Corporation ( "Wildcat ") does not believe any impacts to the Olsen
fence are likely, Wildcat presents the following engineering evaluation to mitigate or avoid any
potential sloughing . of the crown of the cut slope adjacent to the Olsen Fence. Wildcat will
construct a gabion retaining wall approximately 35 feet in length at the toe of the cut slope and
parallel to the New Access Road, as shown on Exhibit D, Figure C4.11 and C4.94. Wildcat will
then backfill the area between the crown of the cut slope and the retaining wall with compacted
fill.
Certified Bv:
DEN 97,636,859v1 10 -19 -11
