Hernandez, Alysha
From: Burgmaier, Susan
Sent: Monday, October 17, 2011 10:34 AM
To: Kaldenbach, Tom
Cc: Hernandez, Alysha
Subject: West Elk Mine (C1980007) RN6 2nd AVS Check
Attachments: west elk rn6 ays 2.pdf
Tom — I have reviewed the information provided by Mountain Coal Company (MCC) in response to the Division's
adequacy concerns with the ownership and control information provided with the RN6 application. The information
provided by MCC resolves all of our ownership and control adequacy concerns. I ran an AVS check; there are no
violations outstanding for MCC or its owners and controllers; the evaluation report is attached. I would recommend
approval of the renewal. If you do not propose a decision within five days of this AVS check, let me know and I'll run
another one for you.
Susan L.
