11403 -1 NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to Approve Technical Revision Ap- plication No. 78 (TR -78) for the Foidel Creek Mine (Permit No. C- 1982 - 056), submitted by Twentymile Coal, LLC. TR78 proposes the installation, opera- tion, and reclamation of a new utility borehole instal- lation, to be located over an extension from the 16 -Left Gateroads (16LT). The proposed borehole installation would consist of a new light -use road, borehole pad, soil stockpiles, and the lined and grouted borehole. A total of 8.3 acres is proposed to be disturbed. . The Foidel Creek Mine is an underground coal mine located in Routt County, approximately 23 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Coal in- terest is Federal and private, and the surface af- fected is Federal and private land. The permit area encompasses approximately 19,940.00 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of The Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regu- lations promulgated thereunder. Copies of the proposed decision, including stipula- tions, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Den- ver, Colorado 80203. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land . Reclamation Board on the proposed decision.
