These cracks were located under the deck, one located on the north side of a gas line and that ran through the foundation while the other was located just south of the gas line. A major vertical crack was also located in the foundation under the porch on the south side of the residence beneath the fireplace. Residence Crawlspace A crack was noted on the inside of the crawlspace door on the west side of the door. A large piece of foundation is missing near the east side of the crawlspace door where the crawlspace entrance was constructed. A vertical crack was noted on the east foundation wall approximately five feet from the north end of the east foundation. Another crack was noted about four feet south of the previous crack. This crack was also a vertical crack running from the foundation floor to the top of the foundation wall. The next two cracks were also visible from outside, this lead the inspector to believe the foundation was cracked all the way through most likely from differential settlement. The first crack just to the north of the gas line had split into two cracks near the upper portion of the foundation. The second crack to the south of the gas line that runs through the foundation also ran the height of the foundation wall. One additional vertical crack running the height of the foundation was found between the last crack south of the gas line and the southeast corner of the foundation. One crack was noted on the south foundation wall, just west of the east most floor beam connection to the foundation. A vertical foundation wall crack was noted midway in the west foundation wall. An additional vertical wall crack was noted approximately ten feet north of the previous crack on the west foundation wall. A major vertical foundation crack was noted on the north wall approximately four feet east of the spot where the electrical wires run through the foundation. This is mistakenly identified as the south wall on the DVD. An additional vertical foundation crack was identified on the north foundation wall approximately one foot west of the east most floor joist. Residence Interior No pre - existing structural or cosmetic damage was noted on the interior. Please refer to the DVD for additional documentation.
