Harry Ranney of CDRMS conducted the <br />aerial flight and collected digital images on September 26, 2011. This inspection is a result of review of the aerial <br />images. <br />The Edna mine is a reclaimed surface mine. No mine personnel remain on site. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4;; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The drainages appear intact and stable. All three ponds are holding permanent pools of water. The West <br />Pit drainage, "string -of- pearls" is holding water in many of the check dams, and appears to be functioning as <br />designed. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclaimed areas remaining in the permit area appear stable and no concerns were identified from these <br />aerial images. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />Vegetation on the mine site is still green. Hill slopes surrounding the permit area are turning yellow and <br />orange with fall colors. Aspen trees in the higher elevations of the mine permit area have already dropped their <br />leaves.
