This plan was submitted in response to a March 19, 2010
request from BLM to Denison to collect additional baseline data in conjunction with the ongoing
Sunday -Topaz Mine Plan Revision EA. In this letter Denison has proposed how to sample and
characterize soil at the Topaz Mine Site. We have read the proposed sampling plan and
conclude that it will be useful in characterizing the soil surrounding the Topaz mine site. Please
ensure that the any laboratory analysis is conducted by a licensed and qualified third -party
laboratory. You may begin your sampling as soon you have received this letter. If you have any
questions, please contact James Blair at 970 - 882 -6862.
Sincerely,
USDI Bureau of Land Management
Southwest District'^
Tres Rios Field Office
http: / /www.co.blm.gov
ios Field Manager
V
FS- 6200 -12a
