Mining Plan <br />6.3.3 Mining Plan description: <br />There is no mining plan for this operation since this is a reclamation only permit to satisfy the <br />Board ordered site reclamation. <br />(a) Description of when mining will start and end and if an intermittent operation: <br />Mining is complete. <br />(b) Estimated depth to which topsoil will be salvaged, adequacy of amount <br />salvaged, and how topsoil stockpiles will be stabilized and protected: <br />Unknown, topsoil was salvaged as part of the mining activity. Topsoil is as described in <br />the attached Soil Report. <br />(c)Estimated thickness of the overburden /waste rock to deposit: <br />Unknown, mining is complete. <br />(d) Estimated thickness of the deposit to be mined: <br />According to the original mining plan, the pit was to be 15 to 20 feet deep. The area in <br />question was not mined in total to this depth. <br />(e) Description of various components of the mining operation: <br />Not applicable since no further mining will occur. <br />EXHIBIT "C" <br />(f) Estimated dimensions of any significant site disturbance: <br />According to the Board Order, the area disturbed is 2.5 acres. We are permitting the <br />entire area of 3.84 acres in order to keep Corkle Pit #1 under 9.9 acres <br />(g) Description of existing or new roads, runoff and conveyance structures: <br />No roads shall be constructed; access for reclamation will be from the adjacent Corkle <br />Construction 110 Limited Impact mining operation. Since the site will be reclaimed, no <br />runoff or conveyance structures will be constructed. <br />(h) Description of the amount of water need for the operation and source: <br />Since the site will be in reclamation, no water will be used other than for dust control per <br />the requirements of the air permit of the adjacent 110 Limited Impact Operation. The <br />only activities will be regrading, topsoil replacement, seedbed preparation, seeding and <br />mulching. <br />15 <br />
