The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado
Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on August 18, 2011, a minor revision application (MR -112) to
the Colowyo Coal Mine, Permit No. C- 1981 -019, operated by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., 5731 State
Highway 13, Meeker, CO 81641 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. Colowyo Coal
Company proposes to extend a powerline and place a substation on the Southern limit of the South Taylor
Pit. This change will place the substation closer to the mining operation. All reviews and comment
periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
