6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />Soil depth is zero to a few feet. Any soil removed in site preparation or pits will be bermed <br />and used to cover pits and cuttings during reclamation at depths approximately equal to <br />pre - disturbance. Any compactea areas wnere soil is not removes will be scarifiea during <br />reclamation. <br />All disturbed areas will be seeded <br />9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Holes will be back filed with cuttings to about 7 ft below surface. Five feet of concrete or <br />expanding foam will be placed as a plug. The remaining hole will be filled with native <br />material. If any ground water is encountered (none expected), bentonite pellets will be <br />used to form a plug to prevent migration of water in the hole. <br />10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />Compacted soils in old roads used to access new holes will be scarified. Any removed <br />brush and limbs will be scattered on any roads no longer needed. <br />
