September 19, 2011 C- 1980 - 002 /0.C. Mine No. 2 BFB <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The vegetation cover was moderate on the entire site. The slopes appeared to be stable and no rills and <br />gullies were noted. The vegetation cover appears to be less than the areas outside the mine site fence. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The site had a many grasses and native shrubs present. A large patch of Canada thistle was present on the <br />site along with a few houndstongue plants (photo 2). Overall, the site did not appear to have more weeds than the <br />surroundings areas. Three cattle were on the site, grazing in the hedge row of chokecherry shrubs. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />The topsoil stockpile sign was in place. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />The topsoil stockpile on the east side of the sediment pond had a good vegetative cover. <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS /COMPLIANCE <br />No enforcement actions were taken as a result of this inspection and none are pending. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 0 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: I <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
