September 16, 2011 <br />G,dULT GROUP LLC <br />Mr. John Murphy, District Ranger <br />USDA Forest Service, Gunnison Ranger District <br />216 North Colorado Street <br />Gunnison, CO 81230 <br />Subject: Supplemental lnformation <br />Dear Mr. Murphy: <br />As a follow -up to our meeting in your office on September 14 Gault Group, LLC is pleased to <br />provide the following supplemental information relative to the proposed Tomichi Resources Plan <br />of Operations (PoO). <br />The attached three figures have been developed to address questions raised during the meeting. <br />The figures illustrate typical configuration of equipment on the staging area, typical layout of the <br />drilling equipment during operation, and the road segments to be re- closed following drilling. <br />The figure depicting road re- closure also includes the location of the primary water tank. The <br />revised point of diversion for the water rights application is: NAD 83, Northing 4269677, <br />Easting 0381951, Zone 13 South <br />The sound panels discussed in the meeting are not included in a figure. Three sound panels will <br />be utilized. Two steel panels, each measuring 8'x14', are mounted on the long sides of the <br />drilling platform, much like the sides on a stake -bed truck. A third panel, measuring 8'x8' is <br />mounted on the end of the platform opposite the drill head. These panels form a "U" shaped <br />structure around three sides of the diesel engine. <br />With regard to the total amount of fluids stored on -site, we are requesting that the 200 gallon <br />quantity included in the PoO be changed to 50 gallons. Maximum diesel capacity in the <br />equipment is 50 gallons, and maximum hydraulic fluid capacity is 40 gallons. Spill prevention <br />measures utilized during refueling entail placement of heavy plastic on the ground where <br />refueling occurs. The plastic is covered with 2'x2'x3/8" absorbant mats.
