The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) received your Notice of Intent (NOI)
to conduct prospecting operations on July 26, 2011. Per Rule 5.1.3 (a), a review of the Notice
application noted deficiencies that were addressed by Minex on September 14, 2011. On September 19,
2011 the Division calculated a reclamation liability estimate for the project of $8,225.00. This estimate
was forwarded to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for their review and concurrence. Minex was
notified that the last deficiency of the notice was the posting of the financial warranty of $8,225.00 via
e -mail on September 22, 2011. On September 26, 2011 BLM notified the Division of its concurrence on
the bond and approval of the project.
In order for the Division to call the Notice complete and issue its notice to proceed Minex must submit
the proper financial warranty to the Denver Division Office by October 14, 2011.
