If the snow /water equivalent at either of these sites
exceeds 125 percent of average, Henderson will consult with DMG about the
potential need to remove the temporary culvert and crossing from the Interceptor
Canal prior to intensive snowmelt runoff. This consultation may include a
requirement to model and estimate the flows in the canal that would result from
snowmelt anticipated based on the Snowtel data.
CMC has complied with the conditions of the stipulation. However, since the inception of
the requirement, CMC completed construction of the "Ultimate" clean water interceptor
canal. This new storm water collection system eliminates the need for the temporary
culverts /crossings and associated snowpack data collection.
Mined Land Reclamation
COLORADO
D I V I S I O N O F
RECLAMATION
MINING
—&—
SAFETY
John W.
