Binns, Janet
From: Linda Saunders [saunders615 @live.com]
Sent: Sunday, September 18, 2011 12:48 PM
To: Binns, Janet
Subject: Please inspect the three definite areas of rilling at the top of the refuse pile hill this month. I
pointed them out to you last month.
Hi Janet,
Thank you for sending me your last inpection report. I pointed out three definite areas of rilling at the top of the refuse
pile that I would like you to check at the top of the refuse hill. They were visible from the bottom of the refuse pile from
quite a long distance. These were not game trails as they did not continue down the hill. We saw a game trail on the
other side of the refuse pile that did continue all the way down the refuse pile. Thank you for taking care of this soon so
it can be mitigated this fall. Please let me know what you find this month.
Also any interseeding where the revegatation standard needs to be done this fall also.I did find the Vento 2008 plant
density report but not one for 2010. In the 2008 plant density report rabbit brush is listed 11th and only one plant ided. It
was not on the plant inventory Kennan did originally. Because the pond is covered with rabbit brush I would like to know
where the topsoil came from. Since we are at the beginning of the drainage in that area, rabbit brush will be carried
everywhere. What can be done to mitigate this rabbitbrush?
Thank you for your attention to the rilling.
Linda
1
