• Destructive samples will be taken every 1,0001f of seam from the material in the <br />trench area. At least 2 samples will be taken if less than 2,0001f of seam installed. <br />• Destructive samples will be sent to a lab for testing (peel and shear). The test <br />values will be a minimum of 80% of parent material strength. <br />• The liner contractor shall supply daily reports to the Owner. <br />Geotextile Liner Installation <br />• Performed by contractor, monitored by Mill Superintendent and/or Owner's <br />Engineer. <br />• Layout geotextile liner on polypropylene liner on impoundment bottom. Panels <br />will overlap adjacent panels lft. <br />• Layout 25ft wide geotextile liner down impoundment slope, for access ramp. <br />• Liner sandbagged as appropriate. <br />Overliner Material Placement, Slope Ballast Installation <br />• Performed by Owner, monitored by Mill Superintendent and/or Owner's <br />Engineer <br />• Grade top of overliner layer on ramp and bottom of impoundment ( +/- 1 ") on 50' <br />grid. <br />• Low ground pressure, smaller equipment will operate on minimum lft depth <br />overliner material. Ramp will have minimum 1.5ft of material. <br />Tailings Slurry Piping, Decant Water Pumps <br />• Performed by Owner, monitored by Mill Superintendent and/or Owner's <br />Engineer. <br />Construction Schedule <br />The proposed construction schedule for the TSF follows. Reference QA/QC plan for additional <br />details on the listed activities. UMC will provide the Division 48hr notice on the CDRMS <br />inspections. UMC will also provide the Division 48hr notice on the optional inspections, but <br />will proceed if the Division elects not to inspect.
