September 13, 2011
To Whom it Concerns:
I, Robert W. Newby, represent Carol Ann Newby, my wife, as it
concerns the site, a gravel pit, known as the Carol Ann Pit.
We have asked the operator of the site, B &B Excavating, a
division of the Old Castle Group, Inc., (B &B) to approach the
Bureau of Mining and Reclamation, an agency in the State of
Colorado, about modifying the existing reclamation plan on the
west end of the project.
By granting our modification request it would give us, the land
owners, a more usable, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally
sound property by rolling the transition from the mining area to
the drainage area, reducing or lessening the slope from 2:1 to
3:1 or more. Both erosion and weed control will be much easier,
better and safer.
With your approval, I have full confidence that B &B can fulfill
our modification request. Finally, it's a win, win for all of the
involved parties because the end product will be a much better
result.
Thank you for your attention and consideration given this matter.
Sincerely yours,
4/
Robert W.
ROBERT W.
