Identification markers have been added to the following topsoil piles: D93 -1, D97 -1, E94 -2, JG -7, and <br />JG-8. <br />One pile contained minor rills on its north- facing slope. This issue was previously identified by a <br />DRMS inspector. This area will continue to be monitored by DRMS staff and the mining company, <br />and the appropriate mitigation will be conducted if the problem persists. <br />Rills on the north side of Al -08 have healed very well. <br />In summary, TMI has made significant progress on addressing the topsoil management issues <br />identified during the inspection in May. I discussed with Forrest Luke (TMI Environmental Manager), <br />Graham Roberts, and Billy Nicholson the importance of continuing to preserve this important resource <br />with proper grading, identification markers, weed management and other practices. <br />
