Reclamation Costs
In order to calculate maximum potential reclamation liability to the State, we have selected a
point in time where reclamation costs could be at a maximum. Since the final land use is water
storage, that time is prior to any slurry wall construction. Each aspect is listed in the following
table with associated disturbed area. Please refer to Exhibit D, Mining Plan, for a listing of
disturbed areas that total 15.7 acres. This estimate will follow the same order as the listing in
Exhibit D.
Treiber Lakes
DRMS 112 Permit Application
EXHIBIT L
Page 22
Aspect
Reclamation Operation
Quantity
Units
'Unit Cost
I ($)
Cost ($)
A.
Regrading excavation slopes for added stability; assume 20% of slopes regraded to 3H:1 V
— 2,000 ft x 79 ft and approximately 300 cubic yards of material moved per linear foot.
1.
