September 13, 2011 C- 2009 - 087 /Peabody Sage Creek Mine JDM <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a complete coal inspection conducted by Jason Musick of CDRMS. Scott Cowman of PSCC <br />accompanied the inspection. The weather was clear and the site was dry during the inspection. Construction <br />activities continue at the site with topsoil salvaging and storage, construction of the sediment control system and <br />access and haul roads, and the development of facilities areas. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The widening of existing haul roads A -1 and D is complete. These roads were initially widened through the <br />Seneca II permit, but were reclaimed. Road B, Road F, and the southern portion of Road D construction was on- <br />going at the time of the inspection. No problems were noted. Existing roads in and around the facilities area were <br />stable with water being applied for dust suppression. No problems were observed. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />No new facilities have yet to be constructed on site.
