and the associated buffer zone is approximately 0.1 acres
Base of Operation is illustrated on Figure C -4. The affected land associated with the
base of operation is 0.95 acre. The legal description, summarized on , is the following: A
tract of land located in Section 28, T36N, R11 W, N.M.P.M., La Plata County, Colorado
and being described more particularly as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line
of a tract of land the deed thereof being filed for record in the Office of the La Plata
County, Colorado, Clerk and Recorder as Reception No. 414617, whence the northeast
comer of said Reception No. 414617 being a '/2" rebar with a 1 -1/2" aluminum cap
stamped "PELS 8974" bears S 89 °39'03 "E, 80.05 feet; Thence N 89 °39'03 "W,
308.93 along the northerly line of said Reception No. 414617 to the north west corner of
said Reception No. 414617 being a 1 /2" rebar with a 1 -1/2" aluminum cap stamped "PELS
8974" and being a point on the easterly right of way of La Plata County Road 124;
Thence N 59 °03'36 "W, 22.22 feet along said right of way; Thence along the are of a
curve to the right and along said right of way to the southerly edge of an existing road,
said curve having a radius of 277.67 feet, a length of 178.47 feet and a long chord that

from a centerline more particularly described as: commencing at the NW corner of that
parcel described in Reception No. 612844, being a 2" aluminum cap on a 5/8 "rebar
stamped "Animas Surveying & Mapping PLS 32437" whence an angle point of said
parcel (a 'A" rebar with a 3 " brass tag wired onto it that is stand "LS 5836 ") bears S
