On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor
revision to install two gob vent holes and move three previously approved holes. The
new holes are numbered GVB -B11 C & B12D.
Background
Gob vent holes are required over all Iongwall panels. Six gob vent holes were approved
by MR -123. Two were for panel B -11, three for panel B -12 and one was for panel B -13.
It was determined that panels B -11 and B -12 need three and four gob vent holes
respectively. Therefore, two additional holes are required. In order to space the gob
vent holes appropriately, three of the holes approved by MR -123 were moved.
GVB Changes
The following changes were made to the GVB numbering and location.
1. GVB -B1 1A, no change.
2. GVB -B11 B, moved to the south.
3. GVB -B11 C, new hole in location previously occupied by GVB-B1 1 B.
4. GVB -B12A, no change
5. GVB -B12B, move to the south.
6. GVB -B12C, moved to the south.
7. GVB -B12D, new hole in location previously occupied by GVB -B12C.
8. GVB -B13A, no change.
Changes were made to the tables on Map 9 to reflect this numbering change.

Right of Entry
Right of entry is granted by BRL's Federal Coal lease subject to analysis of impacts by
the surface management agency. The two new gob vent holes are located on surface
owned by BRL.
