Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />N - Other <br />N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste <br />R - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety. Jim Jarvis represented the operator during the inspection. With the operator's <br />consent, this report was issued from the Denver office of DRMS. <br />Mining was active in the King II Mine workings in the Southern Ute area north of the state mining and <br />reclamation permit area. Within the state permit area, mining has advanced as far as the second section <br />west of the entries leading from the portals. <br />The ground was dry and the entire site was accessible. Selected photos taken during the inspection are <br />provided at the end of this report. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION — Rule 4.17: <br />There no fugitive dust problems. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The results of the records check are shown on the attached list. All required records were available in the <br />mine office. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original <br />Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic <br />Materials 4.143; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Most structures have been removed at King I. The shop building that was located next to the road leading <br />to the coal waste pile has recently been removed.
