ESSIONS
ONS
GLENN E. SESSIONS & SONS, INC.
33492 Highway 125
Walden, CO 80480
(970) 723 -4944
FAX (970) 723 -8344
Inert Fill Notice ( Rule 3.1.5(9))
Fairbanks Pit M- 2003 -058
a.) Glenn E. Sessions & Sons, Inc. would like to be able to accept and import inert
material into the Fairbanks Pit (M- 2003 -058) , as defined by rule 1.1(20). The material
will either be sold or used in the reclamation process after the mining process has
ended. No definite timeline has been defined for the beginning of the reclamation
process.
b.) The approximate volume material to be imported is unknown at this time We will keep
yearly a record of material imported and exported.
c.) Please find the attached and signed affidavit certifying that the material is clean and
inert, as defined by rule 1.1(20);
d.) We will accept material from time to time as the opportunity arises. We will no longer
accept material once the reclamation process is complete.
e.) The material will be placed as to conform to the post - mining use of rangeland.
f.) We do not have a proposed compaction rate for the reclamation _process.,During_the__
filling and reclamation process our heavy equipment will be making several trips over
the filled area, which will result in a very compacted location. Due to the layout and
design of the Fairbanks Pit, there are no issues with stabilization of this fill material. The
fill material will be placed in such a way that it should be easily compacted avoiding
issues with major settling. The intended use of the land post - mining is rangeland. No
structures will be built over the reclaimed area.
