/LEmEX
ANNUAL RECLAMATION REPORT
LYONS QUARRY, LYONS, COLORADO
PERMIT NO. M- 1977 -208
2010 - 2011
The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land Reclamation Act of 1976, Statute
34 -32 -112 of House Bill No. 1065. This report follows the requirements covering annual
reports in the Rules and Regulations of Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, Section 2.4.
The permit for the Lyons Quarry was issued on June 4, 1978.
The Lyons Quarry had no additional disturbance in 2010 — 2011. The last map and report
continue to reflect the current areas and acres of disturbance. In 2009, magnetite storage was
moved closer to the plant to an area inside of C -Pit, and in the first quarter 2010, gypsum
storage was relocated onto the cement plant paved area. Both of these referenced areas were
re- contoured during the third and fourth quarters 2010. Trees were planted, and vegetation was
allowed to develop. Final re- vegetation with native plant species will be conducted in the
future.
