HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION <br />1 <br />Product vapors or mist may Irritating to eyes and respiratory system. Product liquid may <br />cause eye and skin burns. Harmful if swallowed Excessive heating or contact with acids can <br />cause poisonous hydrogen sulfide gas to be released Breathing hydrogen sulfide is <br />potentially lethal <br />Eye irritant. May cause tearing, blurring of vision and corneal damage. <br />Skin irritant. Effects of prolonged skin contact May include rash and burns. <br />Ingestion can cause irritation or bums of the mouth, throat, esophagus, and, stomach <br />with nausea and vomiting. Central nervous system effects may include headaches, <br />weakness, and nausea. <br />Prolonged inhalation of vapors is irritating to the respiratory system, may cause <br />throat pain and cough. Central nervous system effects may Include headaches, <br />weakness, dizziness and nausea. Contact with acids or excessive heating can <br />release poisonous, flammable hydrogen sulfide gas. Hydrogen sulfide has a <br />characteristic "rotten egg" odor. The TWA (8 -hour) exposure level for hydrogen <br />sulfide Is 10 ppm. The IDLH exposure level for hydrogen sulfide is 100 ppm. <br />
