Solid Minerals Inspection Report
Bureau of Land Management
Dolores Public Lands Office
29211 Hwy 184
Dolores, CO 81323
Li U AUU 4 1 41,UII
DURANQO FIELD OFFICE
DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
MINING AND SAFETY
Type of Operation
Locatable — Notice Level
Project Name
HD -1
Serial Number
COC- 074239
Company /Org.
Lynx -Royal
Inspection Date
07/13/2011
Others Present
Mike Leidich — LR
Ryan Weidert —LR
Inspection Time
AM
Inspected By
James Blair
Report Date
08/24/2011
Legal
T42N, R18W, Sec. 11
e-2.409 -d3:1
Introduction
On 7/13/2011 I met with Mike Leidich and Ryan Weidert at the Firehouse in Egnar, Colorado to inspect the
HD -1 notice -level drilling program's reclamation. The site had been drilled the previous year. Overall,
reclamation was progressing satisfactorily, but a few action items were identified. The location of the
project is shown on the attached map. Note that if the project is located nearly adjacent to HD -2, and K1,
and should have been treated as a single notice under the 3809 regulations. However, the total
disturbance from all three is still well below the 5 acre threshold for a notice (rather than plan of operations).
Because of this, no further action is required, however if additional drilling is proposed by Lynx -royal in
conjunction with any of these notices, the threshold of 5 acres or less must be maintained, or a plan which
incorporates the disturbance for all three should be submitted. It is my understanding that no further
activity is expected on any of these projects.
Description
Site C — Located in roadway. Just needs a little more time. Some cheat grass present, but it is pretty
common in the area.
Site B — Also located in the road. Just needs a little more time.
Site A — The road in is ok, but the drill site has poor vegetation.
Site E — The access road has been blocked off. The drill pad at the end of the road still needs some time.
Site D- Looks good.
/X/James Blair
James Blair — DPLO Geologist
970 - 882 -6862
james_blair @blm.gov
Action Items
Continue to let vegetation grow in. Consider raking and seeding sites B and A.
1 of 8
