Solid Minerals Inspection Report
Bureau of Land Management
Dolores Public Lands Office
29211 Hwy 184
Dolores, CO 81323
u u A0 1 al
DURANgO FIELD OFFICE
DIVISION tr RECLAMATION,
MINING AND SAFETY
Type of Operation
Locatable — Notice Level
Project Name
HD -2
Serial Number
COC -74543
Company /Org.
Lynx -Royal
Inspection Date
07/13/2011
Others Present
Mike Leidich — LR
Ryan Weidert - LR
Inspection Time
AM
Inspected By
James Blair
Report Date
08/24/2011
Legal
T42N, R18W, Sec. 12
4 -012_
n
Introduction
On 7/13/2011 I met with Mike Leidich and Ryan Weidert at the Firehouse in Egnar, Colorado to inspect the
HD -2 notice -level drilling program's reclamation. The site had been drilled the previous year. Overall,
reclamation was progressing satisfactorily, but a few action items were identified. The location of the
project is shown on the attached map. Note that if the project is located nearly adjacent to HD -2, and K1,
and should have been treated as a single notice under the 3809 regulations. However, the total
disturbance from all three is still well below the 5 acre threshold for a notice (rather than plan of operations).
Because of this, no further action is required, however if additional drilling is proposed by Lynx -royal in
conjunction with any of these notices, the threshold of 5 acres or less must be maintained, or a plan which
incorporates the disturbance for all three should be submitted. It is my understanding that no further
activity is expected on any of these projects.
Weather was warm and seasonable, with monsoonal moisture building in the afternoon, though it did not
rain during the inspection. Moisture thus far in the year had been pretty good, and things were fairly green
as is evident in the pictures.
Description
Only 2 sites were drilled.
Site A — Earthwork was good. Some weeds. Needs more time for vegetation to fill in. A stock tank was
left on site, presumably by the driller and needs to be removed. There are no identifying marks on the tank.
Site B — Looks pretty good. Just needs a little more time. O c brush is coming in nicely.
regIfialf
James Blair— DPLO Geologist
970 - 882 -6862
james_blair @blm.gov
Action Items
1 of 6
