Mining activity during the reporting period occurred in the <br />northeast portion (Phases 5 and 6A) of the Ergers Pond Pit (DRM &S Permit #M -1998- <br />036) which is contiguous to the northerly permit boundary of the Bromley Lakes Pit. <br />Sand and gravel, excavated from Ergers Pond, was transported by conveyor across the <br />Bromley Lakes Pit to the sand and gravel processing plant located thereon. Wash fines <br />from the processing plant were discharged into the Bromley Lakes settling pond located <br />in Cell 2. In August, 2011, excess overburden from Ergers Pond was used to back fill <br />portions of the southwest portion of Cell 2 (see enclosed drawing). <br />Weed control at Bromley Lakes, during the period of this annual report, included <br />mowing and spraying. <br />Mining in the Bromley Lakes Pit is anticipated to resume in the fall of 2011 when <br />pit preparation is scheduled to begin. <br />
