August 30, 2011 <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 213 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Annual Report for Permit Number M -1985 -212 <br />Dear Minerals and Geology: <br />Below is a summary of mining and reclamation efforts over the past year for the above <br />entitled permit. <br />The quarry was mined within permitted boundary areas. Following up on the State's last <br />inspection, we have built two roads near our two main quarries. These roads will be used <br />to remove cutter tailings that had previously been thrown over the side of the hill. This <br />material will be screened and sold as rip rap. It is expected that removal of this material <br />will start in the next several weeks. <br />No other new roads have been built or other areas opened up for quarrying.
