The
stockpile to the north was made up almost entirely of coal material, with clasts ranging in size from approximately one
foot in diameter to dust sized particles. A small amount of noncoal waste (pieces of metal, trash) was observed in the
pile. The stockpile contained approximately 30 -50 CY of material. Based on the July 25, 2011 Minerals Program
inspection report of the site, the Minerals Program approved the importation of inert fill material from the Foidel Creek
Mine that was to consist of road base, calcium carbonate, and no more than five percent coal fines. The material
identified was inconsistent with the description of the material to be imported.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0
Page 2 of 25
