August 31, 2011 <br />Parcel A -B -00 <br />An area within the north portion of the parcel is barren or contains non - desirable species of vegetation. There is a <br />light use road running through this area and along the south side of this road is a poorly vegetated area where pond <br />cleanings have been stored in the past (per Graham Roberts of TMI). On the north side of this road is an area that <br />contains a large amount of cheat grass and weeds. In another area off of this road is a stockpile of rocks to be used <br />as riprap for maintaining. Oak Gulch. <br />Cheat grass and weeds were observed in several areas of the parcel, including white top, prickly lettuce, and <br />thistle. <br />Parcel A -B -01 <br />Tumble mustard and cheat grass were observed in the parcel. <br />Parcels F -AB -99 and F -AB -01 <br />C- 1981- 010 /Trapper Mine RDZ <br />Some white top was observed in the north portion of F- AB -99. White top and thistle were observed in the south <br />part of these parcels. <br />Parcel F -AB -00 <br />This parcel was a test plot in conjunction with Colorado State University. It contains mixed results, including <br />areas with large bare spots and areas with poor grass cover. This area will require discussions between TMI and <br />the Division to determine if it is eligible for Phase III release. <br />Parcel D -C -99 <br />Considerable white top was observed in this parcel. <br />Parcels D -AB -99 and D -AB -00 <br />These parcels do not have a large number of shrubs. <br />Large swaths of disturbed area were observed in these parcels. Per Graham Roberts, this could be due to gully <br />repair and removal of contour ditches.
