This item is in regards to a Notice of a Possible Violation, Cease and Desist Order, corrective actions and
civil penalties for a possible violation of C.R.S. 34- 32.5 -109 (1) for failure to obtain from the board or
office a reclamation permit prior to engaging in a new mining operation.
July 26, 2011 -- The Division conducted an inspection of the site and found that stone and rock is being
excavated while creating various roads, trails and a home site. The material removed for this operation is
being stored on site on a .6 acres storage area and is being sold. A valid reclamation permit has not been
issued for the site.
August 12, 2011 — A Reason to Believe letter and the Division's July 26, 2011 inspection report was sent
to Kim Barickman of Colorado Moss Rock , Inc.
