Once the ice dam melted, there was <br />no evidence of blockage or damage to the ditch. <br />Permit Section 3.5 commits to maintaining the mine roads, which includes the permanent <br />roads. Rule 4.02(6)(c) also requires that roads be maintained and repaired as soon as <br />practicable after road damage. The operator will need to grade this section of roadway to <br />assure the road functions in accordance with the approved design. <br />The other permanent roads throughout the mine remained in good condition. <br />CMI Response <br />Per the above referenced CDRMS comment, the North Road and Lower Moffat Road <br />were reconditioned on August 8 -9, 2011 by Rogue Resources, Inc (RRI) (Photographs). <br />Equipment utilized on site comprised of grader, compactor and mini -hoe. The rilled <br />locations were graded, spreading existing road base material to fill in deep erosion <br />paths. Approximately 100 cubic yards of 3/4" road base, to approximately a 2" depth, <br />was placed, graded and compacted on the North Road and the Lower Moffat Roacl.
