The <br />soil types present have little to no topsoil and some overburden with the surface being Loam. <br />3" to 6" of the top layer will be saved us plant growth media to he replaced in reclamation. <br />(b)Maximum gradient of reclaimed slopes( horizontalvertical) The maximum gradient <br />on reclaimed backslopes will be 3I1: 1 Sf of flatter to accommodate the rangeland use proposed by <br />the owner. <br />(c)Measures that will be taken to revegetate the site: <br />(i)The growth media will be replaced at a depth of 3 "tn6" and the backslopes finished at <br />3111V. The quarry will be daylight to the South side. See map <br />(ii)Time of seeding, seedbed preparation, type,appplication rate and soil incorporation, <br />method of fertilization application. Tall seeding is preferred and proposed if at all possible. <br />Reshaping will be done using the saved topsoil of 3" to 6" all the slopes shall be at no greater <br />than 3H:1V. The topsoil will be spread and smoothed but not bard packed. Seed will be <br />hrnadcast.
