The pond embankments are stable <br />and well vegetated at the time of the inspection. The primary and end emergency spillways are stable with no <br />problems noted. The pond had no problems noted with the exception of the following: <br />- Two scotch thistle patches were observed on the north side of the emergency spillway. <br />- The rock lined inlet to Pond 008 should evidence of rock displacement at the upper portion of the inlet that will <br />need to be maintained per design. <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a partial coal inspection of the Seneca II Mine conducted by Jason Musick of CDRMS. Jay James of <br />Peabody Energy accompanied the inspection. The weather was clear and the ground was dry at the time of the <br />inspection. No activities have been conducted since the last inspection. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />The main down drain remains damaged due to large 100 -year rain events in July. The down drain appears to be <br />adequate to contain run -off with no threat of off -site damage. This down drain will require repair and maintenance <br />per design to ensure compliance with the approved plans in the PAP. <br />
