Chevron Mining, Inc. Edna Mine: 2011 Weed Management Report <br />In order to effectively control both of the noxious weed species encountered on the West Ridge <br />terraces, HMI utilized an herbicide mixture of Excort XP at two ounces per acre and Milestone <br />VM at four ounces per acre. All West Ridge applications were made with the UTV mounted <br />spray rig. <br />Treatment Results <br />DRMS stated at the June 21 inspection that vegetation sampling would not be required as part of <br />2011 noxious weed management at the Edna Mine. HMI documented herbicide application <br />results photographically at approximately two and a half weeks after the second treatment. In <br />order to visually differentiate between live and dead plants, comparison photos follow on the <br />next page. Photographs of infestations throughout the Edna Mine that have been successfully <br />treated with herbicide in 2011 conclude this report. <br />Habitat Management, Inc. 5 August 19, 2011 <br />
