Type of Undertaking: Construction of an approximate 250 x 200 ft borehole pad and <br />approximately 1.1 miles of access road. <br />11. Size of Undertaking (acres): 7.7 Size of Project (if different) 21.8 acres <br />12. Nature of the Anticipated Disturbance: Construction of a cement borehole pad approximately <br />250 x 200 feet in size (total disturbance area not exceeding 1.7 acres), and 1.1 miles of access road. <br />The borehole pad will contain a diversion ditch and topsoil stockpiles. The access road originates at <br />the existing 18 Left Shaft immediately west of Routt County Road 27 and travels west and south to <br />the proposed borehole. The road will not exceed 50 feet in width, and will contain six culverts. <br />13. Comments: <br />III. PROJECT LOCATION <br />Please attach a photocopy of USGS Quad clearly showing the project location. The Quad should be <br />clearly labeled with the Prime Meridian, Township, Range, Section(s), Quad map name, size, and <br />date. Please do not reduce or enlarge the photocopy. <br />14. Description: The proiect area is located approximately sixteen miles northwest of Oak Creek off <br />of Routt County Road 27 on private lands within Twentvmile Coal's Foidel Creek Mine lease area. <br />The proposed access road begins on the west side of County Road 27 at the existing 18 Left Shaft. <br />15. Total number of acres surveyed: 21.8 <br />17. Comments: A 600 x 500 ft rectangular block was surveyed to include a buffer around the <br />planned 250 x 200 ft borehole pad, and a 100 foot wide corridor (50 feet either side of staked <br />centerline) was surveyed along the entire length of the proposed access road. <br />
